Uplifting the most vulnerable within our community is how we continue to help #CreateTomorrow.
For our 18th birthday, we paid it forward by inviting our shoppers to nominate organisations in Mitchells Plain doing important work in the community. A share of R18 000 was gifted to the top three charities nominated.

This month, we are honoured to feature The Shumeez Scott Foundation, an organisation focusing on individuals with Down Syndrome and intellectual disabilities.

All individuals with special needs deserve the opportunity to fulfil their dreams, more so those from disadvantaged or vulnerable communities. The compassionate and dedicated staff at the Foundation help to empower the young adults in its care, by providing them with the all-important tools on their path to employment, supported by their families and the community.
