When Liberty Promenade set out to stock up libraries at primary and high schools in Mitchells Plain as part of our Mandela Day campaign, we hoped to reach our dream of 6 700 books, but through the generosity of the community and various organisations our #ReadDreamRepeat book collection drive was immensely successful. Collectively, we have doubled our target, with 13 411 books collected and donated to 10 Mitchells Plain schools.
Thank you for changing the storyline, one book at a time, and giving the next generation an enriching future to not only imagine but experience. Reading is truly believing that everything is possible.
