Rainwater harvesting

Liberty Promenade has a rainwater harvesting plant that saves significant amounts of water for/from the mall, and since installation in late 2018, the mall has saved almost 100 000 litres of this scarce resource. The rainwater harvesting plant is a necessary water-saving initiative undertaken by the mall especially in times when there are lower rainfall periods in the Western Cape.
