Our commitment to #CreateTomorrow, by uplifting the most vulnerable, continues.
As part of our 18th birthday celebration in November 2021, we invited our shoppers to nominate organisations in Mitchells Plain doing important work in the community. This is an integral part of who we are and what we do. A share of R18 000 was gifted to the top three charities shaping our community.

This month, we are honoured to feature Hannah’s Place of Safety, a home for abused or abandoned babies under the age of 1.

Hannah’s Place of Safety’s dedicated staff see to the babies’ every need, and love and nurture them in preparation for their forever homes, and whenever possible, they work with Department of Social Development case workers for family visitations. Providing the babies with love, care and compassion, it’s the first step towards rehabilitation, and creating a new path and future for them.

To the amazing Hannah’s Place of Safety family, we salute you and the life-saving work you are doing daily.
