Feeding Our Community In Need

As a community-centric mall, the Liberty Promenade family firmly believes in playing our part in uplifting the most vulnerable. As we continue to feel the devastation brought about by this pandemic, in recent weeks we have donated to local organisations and schools offering outreach programmes to the vulnerable in our community, including:

Heaven’s Shelter House, known for their work with destitute, homeless and abused mothers and their children. They provide immediate relief with food, bed and shelter, but also have a long-term plan aimed at rehabilitating the residents so they can regain self-confidence and improve their circumstances and change their future. Cascade Primary School in Tafelsig, the important education institution feeding up to 350 children in their area, as most learners still rely on the school’s feeding scheme, especially during lockdown. Despite it being closed due to the nation-wide lockdown, the school continued to provide this life-saving service. Nehemiah Call Initiative, an important organisation that reaches out to vulnerable youth and adults in Lost City, Freedom Park, the Farm and Beacon Valley.
