October was an exciting and inspiring month at Liberty Promenade. Let’s look back on what happened at the centre.
To create awareness of Mental Health month commemorated during October, Liberty Promenade hosted two awesome kiting experiences for families in association with Cape Mental Health. A kite decorating competition was held on Saturday, 19 October and kids aged between 6 and 13 decorated kites using paints, recycled paper and various other craft materials. On Thursday, 24 October, the sky filled with colour when international and local kite experts, came for a visit to host the Community Fly in the Supa Quick parking area.
To encourage an increase in basket size during October, Liberty Promenade shoppers were encouraged to spend R200 or more at any Liberty Promenade store in order to participate in an interactive experience. Shoppers stepped inside a London-styled telephone booth, interacted with a digital microsite, entered their details and stood a chance of winning an instant prize or gift cards valued at R2 500. The activation proved to be extremely popular amongst shoppers with constant queues and a buzz of activity. #RewardsForShoppingAtPromenade!
